Just got reviewed in Bloggy Opinions. Not sure what image besides a Moon tarot might better depict my writing persona, but was very happy with the review. Will be happier tomorrow when I get back to a normal writing schedule — and stay there!
Anyway, for what it’s worth, the Moon card reflects my writing persona in several ways. First, Cynthia is one of the ancient names for the moon goddess. And the moon is mysterious, it comes out at night, it changes daytime images into other things entirely. “By her illumination we see shadows hitherto unknown” says Sallie Nichols. I equate these aspects of the moon to my writing experience. I take bits and pieces of my life, and the lives around me, and with words, transform them into something else entirely. And, for all the musing I do about it here, the process is still very mysterious. At least to me.
Of course, I wouldn’t expect anyone except maybe a tarot reader to get all that from the Moon card. So I still think the review is great.
