Yesterday, got the short essay out to the editor who is putting it with a whole bunch of other (365) short essays in a book of tips for writers. The editor described the project to me thusly: “A page a day date book with inspirational quotes, room to make one’s own notes, and a blurb from the writing community.” And she also said Julia Cameron had given permission to use quotes from the Artist’s Way.
So, wow, I’ll be in a book with Julia Cameron!
This is me, dancing on a kitchen chair last week. Yes, that’s Chardonnay dribbled all over the front of my shirt. What’s your point? If being in a book with Julia Cameron and 363 other writers is not something to dance about, I don’t know what is.
Finished the essay yesterday and sent it off, today will finish the article and send it off. Also today need to decide where to send Attracting Jack next. Oh, and go grocery shopping. The glamourous life of a writer. She sings. She dances. She cooks.
