So close to the end of the book. Just two more scenes to write/revise. Am pretty sure will finish today. Had to run an Xmas errand first thing today, but figured I could use the drive time to think about funeral scene (that’s the one that I have to create from scratch) and immediately lots of ideas and ways for it to work as the penultimate chapter that closes several loops just swooshed in. Even before I got in the car. Quickly jotted notes and went out on the errand, determined to come home and write despite the fact that my fragile pattern of writing first thing had been broken.
So I’m writing this entry for two reasons. One, as a way into the fictional world and two, because, just so you know, my mood has greatly improved since the last entry.
