When you take Sara’s class, she calls you every day. That’s part of her program. And the conversation can be about anything the student wants it to be. Sara’s very intuitive, and she offers advice based on her gut feelings. She told me, for example, that I might want to try writing something completely different–like maybe a children’s story.
“I don’t think so…” I said. I’ve never had the slightest desire to write a children’s story.
Until now. And now, I’m not writing a children’s story so much as telling one child’s story. Ricky’s story. So Sara’s intuition was right after all, just not in the way either of us could have predicted.
