It took me a day or two, but I finally figured out that what Natalie Goldberg meant by “you can’t write about writing” referred only to the context of the particular exercise she was explaining. I have been meaning to clear that up.
Another thing I want to clarify is that I still plan to open some kind of online workshop/classroom. I’m just not sure what/how/when. I know it will be here, that’s why I’m with Word Press, because I can make private rooms with multiple authors right on my site. I don’t know how to do it yet, or what kind of approach would best serve, but I’m working on it.
I know two things: if it happens, it will be here, and it will be free. That’s all I know for sure right now.
If I eventually visualize the perfect thing, I’ll make it happen. Summer might be the right time, because I am almost sure I’m not going to be teaching after May.
Lots of “if” and “might” and “almost sure” qualifiers today. That’s because I still don’t have all my information. Taking it one day at a time until things fall into place, which, eventually, they will.
