Finished my NaNo novel this morning.
Also I may be coming down with something. My throat feels a little funny, my head is fuzzy and my ears hurt. Maybe it’s from the wine yesterday? Or the martini? Or the Bailey’s in my hot chocolate?
In other news, I got my GH entry posted and Fed Ex promises it will be in Houston by December 1, a day early!
And the agent thing. Here’s what happened. It’s depressing, because I like my ex-agent. She’s a nice person. And she has sold books for other writers, but after 2.5 years and as many manuscripts, she didn’t make a sale for me, so I figure we are both better off going our separate ways. She is probably glad I pulled the plug first. Although I have not heard from her so I can’t confirm that.
I hate the fact that I have to find a new agent now. But, as soon as my ears stop hurting and my head de-fuzzes, I’m going to get right on that. Oh, that’s right. Contract states I have to wait thirty days. So, after Christmas then. New year, new agent. And maybe finally a book deal.
