How to Win a Book
This is the last day of our Florida Gulf Coast Sisters in Crime 12 Days of Christmas online event. Seems like everyone is using Facebook and that works for me as Facebook is my friend page. I have Instagram too, but I use that mostly to post whatever books I’m reading. Or writing. Right now I am reading lots of Regency research books and re-reading Georgette Heyer novels. I am also reading a cozy contemporary mystery. I love reading at least as much as I love writing.

Say hi on my Facebook friend page. That’s’ it. Introduce yourself and you win the book of your choice. You will need to send me (email is cindy@cynthiaharrison.com) the title you select, your home address for a print copy and your email address for an e-book. The format of the book is your choice from the books below. Some of my books are also available on Audible. I chose the voice actors myself and have had a range of comments. One book in any format per person. USA addresses only. I will send notification to the winners and announce the close of the contest when all the books offered (six in total) have been claimed.
Funny story…my new book, releasing December 18, is not a mystery. And it’s only available as an e-book.

While I ease into historical romance, I will offer my mystery novel, Blue Lake Christmas Mystery. It concerns a college grad moving north to bring a small town newspaper online. She really wants to be a true crime writer, but she loves the idea of a paycheck so she becomes a journalist. Then someone gets murdered at a holiday party and she becomes an investigative journalist by default. There’s a romance, too. This one is available on Audible as well as all the usual e-book retailers: Amazon, Nook, iPhone, Kindle.

I also offer the first two of my Florida mystery series Jane in St. Pete and Body on the Bayou. Jane is a recent widow who decides to retire from her art lecture career and move to Florida. A handsome police detective enlists her aid in the murder of an outsider artist in her neighborhood. Body on the Bayou continues Jane’s art expert partnership with the St. Pete police detective when the lady who owns expensive art and lives the penthouse is killed. Jane stumbles upon her body laid out on the Bayou that winds through the condo property where she lives. Yes, these books also have a splash of romance. I’m still at work on the third book in this series, having been side-tracked by historical romance.

Happy holidays everyone xo
