This blog will be written to entertain and possibly enlighten other writers in some small way.
I don’t see any books as blog posts, but maybe I’ll find some as the bot told me that yes, often people do write books in blog format.

Happy Holidays! Al and I are the proud parents of one and a half years old Faye Fey. Absorbed by her antics and buying her everything that was not available to our other cats (RIP Rusty and Lulu and Trixie) like automatic feeders, water fountain, and maybe in future the auto-clean litter box. What a… Keep reading →

How to Win a BookThis is the last day of our Florida Gulf Coast Sisters in Crime 12 Days of Christmas online event. Seems like everyone is using Facebook and that works for me as Facebook is my friend page. I have Instagram too, but I use that mostly to post whatever books I’m reading. Keep reading →

This is what’s new in December! I love Christmas! Which is why I have written two Christmas books, one contemporary and one historical. I love reading historical romances and have since I was a tween. To celebrate the holiday and my first historical romance featuring Christmas I have joined with other writer friends in a Keep reading →

We have been together for forty years. We’ve got vacations figured out. Um. But like writing, vacations can inspire revision. Over and over as times change, as we change. For example, road trips. We have been doing them our entire married life. Camping with the boys when they were small all the way to here Keep reading →

I signed the contract for my first historical novel, a Regency romance. Meanwhile, I am slowly working on the last Jane in St. Pete book. After signing a contract, there are tasks to do along with edits. My favorite task is suggestions for book covers. I have worked with the same cover artist for a Keep reading →

It’s weird to be born straddling two centuries. So many changes. Many good changes. The internet is a mixed blessing for writers. Many more opportunities for voices to be heard, things like blogs. Which now are relics, maybe, but I like having a website with a blog. I like old things, always have. Just look Keep reading →
